Who Needs Wound Care?

At the Wound Healing Center, we specialize in uncovering the reasons behind persistent wounds that haven't responded to traditional treatments, even after months or years. Our commitment extends to individuals facing diabetes, circulatory problems, suppressed immune systems, cancer, burns, and other health challenges hindering the body's natural ability to heal. We also stand by those dealing with impaired healing due to medications.

If you're grappling with a wound that hasn't shown signs of improvement in 30 days or if you're facing any of the conditions listed below, rest assured – we're here to provide the help and solutions you need.

  • Bone infections (osteomyelitis)
  • Brown recluse spider bites
  • Diabetic foot ulcer
  • Failing or compromised skin/muscle grafts or flaps
  • Gangrene
  • Traumatic wounds and burns
  • Lower leg ulcers
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Progressive necrotizing infections
  • Radiation burns or injuries (including osteoradionecrosis)
  • Skin tears or lacerations
  • Slow, non-healing or infected surgical wounds

Your Wound Treatment Plan

When you step into the Wound Healing Center, we prioritize your well-being. Your journey begins with a thorough health evaluation, leading to a personalized treatment plan crafted just for you. Working hand-in-hand with your primary care doctor, we ensure your needs are met throughout the plan, which typically spans up to 14 weeks. As part of our patient-centered approach, you may find hyperbaric oxygen therapy integrated into your treatment, using our state-of-the-art chambers for optimal healing.

Even as you complete your wound-healing stages, you're not alone. Our commitment extends beyond your time at the center. We're here to empower you with knowledge on at-home wound care and preventive practices for lasting health.

Working With Our Wound Care Team

Coordinating with Our Wound Care Team is a straightforward process. While we specialize in healing wounds, your primary care doctor remains your point of contact for other medical conditions or illnesses. We actively communicate, ensuring your primary care doctor is well-informed about the treatments administered at the clinic.

Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., offering you accessibility.
