Claxton-Hepburn Medical Campus/Center is a proud member of the North Star Health Alliance—working collaboratively with Carthage Area Hospital, North Country Orthopaedic Group, and Meadowbrook Terrace—demonstrating a commitment to keeping healthcare local through shared services and dedication.
The Claxton-Hepburn Medical Campus recently converted to a 25-bed hospital in preparation for achieving Critical Access Status.
Additionally, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center maintains its designation as an Article 31 psychiatric hospital, operating 28 adult acute-care mental health beds and 10 children/adolescent beds.
The original facility has historically included a total of 115 beds, encompassing:
67 acute-care beds
A 10-bed Intensive Care Unit
A 10-bed Obstetrics Unit
The main campus consists of the main hospital buildings, the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center, and the Dr. Ravinder N. Agarwal Renal Center.
