Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Recognized as Most Wired

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center was recently nationally recognized as a Most Wired Hospital, by the College of Healthcare Informatics based on an expansive range of criteria. Claxton-Hepburn achieved Level 7 recognition, which is in the upper tier. Jim Flood, director of Information Systems at Claxton-Hepburn stated, “This is not simply a recognition of the hardware and network gear we use. It’s about how we leverage technology to take care of patients and run the overall operations of the facility.” He continued, “ We have a hardworking, dedicated Information Systems staff that works tirelessly to improve and support hospital operations and patient outcomes.” Your tomorrow is worth defending.
