Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Recognize Rehab Services Staff

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Recognize Rehab Services Staff
October was National Physical Therapy Month and is an opportunity for Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center to tout recent achievements and ongoing education of our Rehab Services staff. Some recent accomplishments include Jordan Pedersen, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, Cert. MDT, AND Megan Haught, PT, DPT, who has completed the Level 1 Credentialed Clinical Course from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Trevor Johnson, PT, DPT, Cert. BFR is currently seeking Level 1 Credentialed Clinical Course from the APTA, and Amy Doser, PTA, is seeking Level 2 Credentialed Clinical Instructor Course from the APTA. Stacey Rosenberger, SLP, and Vania Fallon, SLP, are the only SLP’s certified in McNeill Dysphagia swallowing program in Northern New York. The Rehab Services department is lead by Erica Durant, PT, DPT, who is also seeking Level 2 Credentialed Clinical Instructor Course from the APTA. Durant had this to say about her staff. “In the ever-changing world of health care, one thing remains the same for our Rehab Services team, to provide innovative, excellent, and compassionate care for our patients.” She continued, “I believe the longevity of the staff and continued dedication to further their skills and knowledge in specialty areas speaks directly to our mission here at Claxton-Hepburn ‘to enhance health and life with compassion and excellence.’” She concluded, “I am proud to lead the Rehab Services team at Claxton-Hepburn.” Shown in the photo are Johnson, Haught, Amy Doser, PTA, Gerry Hourihan, PT, Joy Walker, PT, Alison Alguire, MPT, Pedersen, Sarah Trathen, PTA, and Durant. Your tomorrow is worth defending.
