Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s Pedersen Achieves Fellowship Status

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is pleased to announce that Physical Therapist Jordan Pedersen, DPT, who works in the Medical Center’s outpatient rehabilitation clinic, recently completed a two-year post-professional masters program in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy at Daemen College in Buffalo, NY. Through completion of this program and examination process, Dr. Pedersen successfully achieved Fellow status in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Currently, less than 1% of physical therapists in the United States have obtained Fellow status. Dr. Pedersen stated, “I would like to thank Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and my co-workers for supporting me as I completed this program.”

Through Dr. Pedersen’s training, he can provide advanced manual physical therapy care. His achievement further demonstrates that Dr. Pedersen and the Claxton-Hepburn physical rehabilitation team are committed to delivering high-quality physical therapy practices. The team strives to help individuals live a pain-free life and be able to participate in all the things they enjoy most thoroughly, and to keep our community North Country strong.
