Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Recognizes Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is joining in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists 20th annual National Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) Week, January 20-26, 2019 to recognize the vital role of CRNAs in the U.S. healthcare system. This year’s theme, “Every breath, every beat, every second, we are there,” reflects how CRNAs dedicate themselves to each of their patients before, during and after surgery. CRNAs stay with their patient throughout their procedure to ensure the safest anesthesia experience possible. Every day, CRNAs deliver essential healthcare in thousands of communities and can prevent gaps in access to anesthesia services, especially in rural, inner-city and other medically underserved areas of the country. Shown in the photo are Claxton-Hepburn CRNAs Lynn Widrick, Kristi Ann Lyga, Debra Piercey, Krista Fuller, and Eric Curvin. Your tomorrow is worth defending.
