Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is joining in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists 19th annual National Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) Week, January 21-27, 2018 to recognize the vital role of CRNAs in the U.S. healthcare system. This year’s theme, “Making a Difference, One Patient at a Time,” reflects how CRNAs dedicate themselves to each of their patients before, during and after surgery. CRNAs stay with their patient throughout their procedure to ensure the safest anesthesia experience possible. Every day, CRNAs deliver essential healthcare in thousands of communities and can prevent gaps in access to anesthesia services, especially in rural, inner-city and other medically underserved areas of the country. Shown in the photo are Claxton-Hepburn CRNAs Kristi Ann Lyga, Eric Curvin, John Strong, Lynn Widrick, and Debra Piercey. Missing from the picture is Krista Fuller. Your tomorrow is worth defending.
